A plane carrying Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar crash-landed in Baramati on Wednesday, January 28.

Pawar was scheduled to attend multiple political events in Baramati today.

According to preliminary information, the aircraft encountered trouble while landing at the Baramati airstrip during Pawar’s visit to the town.

Sources said that a few people on board sustained injuries in the incident, though there has been no official confirmation so far regarding Pawar’s health.
