Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Sharan Sharma wedding reception: Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol, Sonakshi Sinha, Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff and more attend

After exchanging vows in an intimate registered wedding ceremony on July 11, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and filmmaker Sharan Sharma hosted a grand reception for their friends and colleagues from the Hindi film industry.

The evening witnessed several well-known celebrities who gathered to congratulate the newlyweds and celebrate the beginning of their new journey together.The reception brought together actors, filmmakers, singers and television personalities under one roof.

Anushka Ranjan, Aditya Seal steal the spotlight

Among the first celebrities to arrive were Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal. The couple, who are expecting their first child, happily posed for photographers outside the venue.

Dressed in a red-and-gold Banarasi saree, Anushka proudly showcased her baby bump.The celebrations also saw the presence of the Bhatt family. While Alia Bhatt, who shares a close friendship with Akansha, chose not to pose for the paparazzi, her parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan attended the reception. Shaheen Bhatt also arrived with her fiancé Ishaan Mehra, joining the family in celebrating the special occasion.

Veteran stars bless the newlyweds

Several senior members of the film fraternity attended the reception to extend their best wishes to the newly married couple.

Veteran actor Jeetendra was among the distinguished guests who arrived to bless Akansha and Sharan.Actor Neena Gupta grabbed attention with her elegant black saree paired with a sleeveless blouse and minimal accessories. Mahima Chaudhry also marked a rare public appearance, choosing a graceful wine-coloured outfit for the celebrations. Celebrated singer Sonu Nigam made time from his busy schedule to attend the reception.

His presence added to the star-studded guest list as celebrities from different generations came together to celebrate the couple.

Alia was also seen dancing to the popular Bollywood song "Maahi Ve" from 'Kal Ho Naa Ho'. She was joined by Anushka Ranjan Kapoor, sister of the bride-to-be, and actor Aditya Seal. Tanisha Santoshi, who made her acting debut with 'Gandhi Godse – Ek Yuddh' attended the reception in a traditional outfit. Zayn Marie Khan, niece of Aamir Khan, also arrived for the celebrations wearing a green saree.
