AKU extends PG admission deadline to June 30

Patna: Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) on Wednesday extended the last date for submission of online applications for admission to all its 15 postgraduate (PG) courses running through its nine different schools once again.

Now, the eligible students can apply for admission to any of these programmes till June 30, according to a university notification.AKU’s school of nano science and technology offers AICTE-approved M Tech course in nano science and technology (20 seats), the school of geographical studies imparts MA course in geography (50 seats).The school of journalism and mass communications runs altogether six courses, including MA in journalism and mass communications (30 seats), and PG diploma courses in film making, photography, science communication, development communication and digital and online journalism (30 seats each).The school of river studies runs two courses, namely, MSc in river science and management (20) and AICTE-approved MTech in water resource engineering (24 seats).The Patliputra school of economics imparts MA in economics (40), while the school of management teachings runs MBA course (60). The school of philosophy runs MA in philosophy (30), the school of stem cell technology runs MSc in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine (20). Lastly, AKU’s school of astronomy offers MSc in space science and astronomy (10seats). Further details about all these courses and process of admission will be uploaded on the AKU's website, said the notification.
