It was Lafreniere's second career hat-trick and his fifth goal in the last four games, which indicated a resurgence in his form following a relatively sluggish period at the beginning of the season.Goaltender Jonathan Quick was also not left behind, as he prevented all 21 goals he encountered to have his second shutout of the season. The Rangers have just earned their first home game win in a row since the season started, which has seen them record 4-1-1 in the last six games.
