New Delhi: Amazfit has officially launched its latest T-Rex Ultra 2 as the flagship in the company’s rugged T-Rex series, as the successor to the T-Rex Ultra, which was debuted back in 2023. This device is especially designed for outdoor enthusiasts and athletes to operate in demanding environments.
The smartwatch comes with several hardware upgrades, including titanium construction and enhanced navigation tools. T-Rex Ultra 2 comes with a 1.5-inch AMOLED display protected by scratch-resistant sapphire glass.
It also ensure much durability in extreme conditions, the watch utilizes a Grade 5 titanium bezel and case back. The device is engineered for both terrestrial and underwater use, with a 10 ATM water-resistance rating and dual diving certifications.
The hardware is built to remain reliable in environments where the visibility and the climate might be unpredictable. The aim of the Ultra 2 is its independent navigation suite. The watch supports full-color global maps that can be preloaded through the Zepp application.
There are some crazy features in this smartwatch, which include: Offline route Planning, 6-Satellite Positioning, Autonomous Rerouting, and Climb Management. It also comes with 64GB internal storage, the device can house extensive map data, music, and activity logs, reducing the necessity of carrying a smartphone during the expeditions.
Ultra 2 includes a built-in dual-mode flashlight with adjustable brightness and a specialized Boost Mode for maximum illumination. A unique green light mode is also included to be designed compatible with night vision goggles by minimizing screen interference.
Ultra 2 is powered by a battery capable of lasting up to 30 days in standard smartwatch mode or over 50 hours with continuous GPS tracking. It also includes several performance tracking modes like Grade Adjusted Pace, Audio Integration, and Health Tracking. It is priced at $549.99 (roughly Rs 50,075), and it is available through Amazfit’s official website, and it is also available on e-commerce platforms like Amazon.
