Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath on Saturday said the Andhra Pradesh government would extend all possible support to industrialists and ensure faster project execution and issue resolution.

The Minister visited the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Atchutapuram in Anakapalle district and reviewed the progress of various projects with Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) officials. He also assessed the status of the Bulk Drug Park and the ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) project at the Nakkapalli cluster, interacting with officials and contractors.

Mr. Bharath held a separate meeting on the development of MSME parks and reviewed the recent allocations made by the State government for setting up new units. He sought detailed feedback from industry representatives on the challenges they face at the ground level and the support they expect from the government.

Later, the Minister visited the Atchutapuram Effluent Treatment Limited plant to take stock of the waste management system.

Addressing industrialists, Mr. Bharath said, “We believe in the Speed of Doing Business and Speed of Doing Works. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is Andhra Pradesh’s brand image, which helped the State attract more than ₹9.5 lakh crore in investments in a single year. Our government is committed to achieving the target of creating 20 lakh jobs for youth.” He assured that the concerns raised by industrialists would be taken up with the government and resolved at the earliest.
