Anganwadi worker bitten by snake

An anganwadi worker at Koranchira near Ottapalam was bitten by a snake on Saturday. Vishala Kalathilthodi, 57, sustained the bite on her finger while clearing the overgrown front yard of the anganwadi.

She was first taken to the Government Hospital at Sreekrishnapuram by the local residents and later shifted to the Government Taluk Hospital, Ottapalam.
