Ankit Mohan enters Supernatural Comedy Gharwali Pedwali

Supernatural comedy show Gharwali Pedwali continues to surprise audiences with exciting twists, humour and emotions. Adding some fresh twist in the storyline is the entry of talented actor Ankit Mohan, who has stepped into the role of Yaksha. Yaksha is a mysterious Ghost disguised as Maddy in his Human avatar.

His character will bring some gripping suspense in the show while also carrying a strong connection to Latika’s past.Speaking about his character and joining the cast actor Ankit Mohan playing Yaksha shares, “When I first about my character in the Yaksha I was totally amazed and excited. On the surface, Maddy enters the story as Jeetu’s friend. Yaksha is charming, easy-going, and perfectly normal. But beneath that human identity lies Yaksha, an evil ghost with a past that has deep connection with Latika.

The duality of this character is what is challenging for me.

The show has a wonderful mix of comedy, fantasy and emotions, and being able to play a character who exists between the supernatural and the human world is something audience will love to watch.” Expressing more about his entry, he further adds, “What I really enjoyed is that Yaksha is not just a typical ghost character. He carries memories, emotions, and unresolved feelings from the past. His entry as Maddy slowly starts revealing pieces of that story. At the same time, since the show has a strong comedic tone, there are many fun moments that come from him. I believe Yaksha’s presence will bring a new twist to the narrative.
