Anna University will begin the online application process for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2026 and the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions for Postgraduate (CEETA-PG) 2026 from March 16, 2026.Eligible candidates will be able to submit their applications through the official website tancet.annauniv.edu.According to the schedule, the last date to submit the TANCET and CEETA-PG 2026 application form is April 10, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete the registration process before the deadline.
Purpose of the exams
The TANCET 2026 examination is conducted for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programmes offered by colleges in Tamil Nadu.
The CEETA-PG 2026 examination is held for admission to postgraduate engineering and architecture programmes including Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Architecture (MArch) and Master of Planning (MPlanning).
TANCET 2026 exam schedule
According to the official timetable, the TANCET 2026 examination will be conducted on May 9, 2026 in two different shifts.
- MBA exam: 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon
- MCA exam: 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
CEETA-PG 2026 exam schedule
The CEETA-PG 2026 examination will be conducted on May 10, 2026.
The exam will be held in a single session from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at 15 test centres across Tamil Nadu.
Application fee
Candidates applying for the entrance exams must pay the application fee while submitting the form.For TANCET 2026:
- Rs 500 for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Caste Arunthathiyar (SCA), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories from Tamil Nadu
- Rs 1,000 for all other candidates
For CEETA-PG 2026 (including counselling charges):
- Rs 972 for SC, SCA and ST candidates from Tamil Nadu
- Rs 1,944 for other candidates

- Visit the official website tancet.annauniv.edu.
- Click on the link for “TANCET 2026” or “CEETA-PG 2026”.
- Complete the registration by entering the required details.
- Pay the application fee and submit the form.
- Download the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.
