Annalynne McCord says she cried for 10 minutes after the proposal
While speaking to People, the 38-year-old actress said, “I cried for 10 minutes straight. At some point, I realized I had to answer. I said, ‘Yes, but I can’t even speak,’ and he replied, ‘That’s okay, it’s actually a good sign that you are quiet for once.’ Then, we’re all laughing.”
Annalynne McCord was planning to propose first, but her sisters disapproved
McCord told the outlet that she was actually considering proposing to the athlete late last year, but her sisters “strongly discouraged” her from taking that step at the time.
“It occurred to me that I should just propose to him and I told my sisters. Both really questioned this choice, and they strongly discouraged it,” she recalled. “I decided to tell him that was my plan, but then the look on his face convinced me not to, and he fessed up and told me he had plans to propose to me on our upcoming trip to Cambodia.
”
Danny Cipriani’s sweet Christmas day proposal
The actress told the outlet that Cipriani proposed to her at her Los Angeles home with a 15-carat, emerald-cut diamond with seven round accent diamonds set in the band.
He also arranged for her family and friends to watch the proposal over Zoom. “I come downstairs and there are rose petals everywhere and a rose petal heart,” she revealed. “Danny, down on one knee with a ring, waiting for me to step into the heart.”In May 2024 Us Weekly revealed that McCord and Cipriani were officially back together. The two originally started dating in 2016, but went their separate ways four years later. Now the couple has reunited and certainly planning to take big steps together.
