'Anupamaa' 15th March 2026 written update: Gautam threatens Vasundhara, Digvijay softens, and a call from school shocks Anupama

The 15th March 2026 episode opened with Anupama at the house owner's place, trying to figure out how she would manage everything over the next ten days. The lady questioned how Anupama expected to survive that long if she was already struggling.

Anupama stayed calm and said Jaya was with her and they would manage. The lady brushed Jaya aside and told her to just cook basic food for now. Anupama turned to Jaya and apologised for being stuck with work and not giving her enough time. Jaya sweetly said she enjoyed being with her and wanted to help. Anupama refused, feeling it was not right to burden her, and decided to handle everything on her own.

Gautam threatens Vasundhara

Prerna and Prem were out driving when Prerna brought up an idea she had been sitting on.

She wanted to open a restaurant. Prem immediately asked who would run it. Prerna did not think twice and said Anupama was the only person she trusted for it. She admitted she missed her a lot and still believed in her talent. Prem decided he should try reaching out to Anupama. Prerna also told Prem she had bought gifts for both him and Rahi, saying they had stood by her during difficult times and she did not want to lose that bond with the family.

Prem accepted the gift and left, but the moment he was gone, Prerna looked anxious and unsettled.Back at the house, Anupama told the owner the trial food was ready. The lady immediately told her not to expect any payment for it. She would taste it first, and only if she liked it would she consider hiring Anupama permanently. Anupama calmly said she had no intention of asking for money and just wanted an honest chance to work.At the Kothari house, Vasundhara told Anil that Gautam would be finalising an important business file. Anil was furious and could not understand how she could put that kind of trust in Gautam. Vasundhara defended him, saying he was bringing profit and handling things smoothly while Parag was away. Anil, Meeta and Prem were all unhappy with the decision. Sensing the tension, Gautam pulled Vasundhara aside privately and told her the rest of the family simply did not understand his value.

He then threatened her directly, saying that if she handed responsibility to Anil instead, she might not be able to protect her own house from the consequences. Vasundhara was visibly shaken by his words.

Jaya's fancy dress worries and a power cut

Later, Anupama drifted into her own thoughts when Jaya interrupted and asked what she should wear for her school fancy dress competition. She was worried that without a proper costume, her marks would be reduced. Anupama gently reassured her that her marks would not be affected.

Jaya then asked why Devika had not sent any money yet. Anupama explained that Devika loved them deeply and was working hard for their future.

Mid-conversation, she suddenly realised it was already 10 PM.Jaya said she was hungry. Anupama quickly called Banku and asked him to take Jaya inside since it was getting late. Banku told Anupama to slip in quietly so Digvijay would not notice. But Digvijay spotted her anyway and questioned why she was coming in so late.

Right at that moment, the electricity went out. Digvijay asked Banku whether he had called an electrician. Banku said he had tried several times, but no one had shown up.

Anupama, knowing Jaya was hungry and could not wait any longer, stepped in and offered to check the problem herself. Digvijay hesitated but finally allowed her to try. She fixed the electrical connection, and the lights came back on. Digvijay acknowledged her effort and offered money as payment.

Anupama refused.He told her firmly not to come in late again and then asked Banku to give her the money regardless. Banku urged her to accept it, reminding her that Digvijay was not as harsh as he appeared. After some hesitation, Anupama accepted, quietly feeling that the money had arrived at exactly the right time.

Digvijay's emotional moment and an unexpected call

That night, Anupama prayed, telling God that she kept coming back not out of habit but because she truly believed He had always supported her.

The next morning, she woke Jaya, asked her to thank God for a new day, promised her she would arrange a costume for the fancy dress competition, and hoped the day would pass peacefully.At the Kothari house, Khyati asked Prerna to have her coffee on time. Prerna admitted she always forgets. Khyati remembered Parag, saying he worked so much that he often forgot to take care of himself. Prerna wished the entire Kothari family well.

Gautam tried to use the moment to turn Prerna against the family, but she shut him down firmly and told him to stay away from her.Just then, Mahi walked in, and Gautam snapped at her for following him around. Rahi tried to intervene, but Prem stopped her from getting involved.Meanwhile, Banku was watching Digvijay read an old newspaper and sensed he might tear it up in frustration soon. Digvijay was suddenly hit by a memory of his daughter and became restless. Banku tried to comfort him. While sorting through old belongings, Digvijay told Banku to throw out what was not needed. He said he was heading out and asked Banku to prepare the same meal as the previous day. Anupama overheard the conversation, and Banku asked her to cook while he finished clearing things out.

Just as she was settling in, Anupama's phone rang. It was Jaya's school, and the call left her completely stunned.
