‘Anupamaa’ February 9 written update: Anupama worries about Kapil and Kriti’s relationship

The episode starts off with Anupama meeting up with Kapil and apologizing to him about overhearing his conversation with Kriti. She asks him about his injuries; however, he tells her not to ask about all of that and leaves in a hurry while hiding his face.

Anupama wishes to dig deeper, but decides not to interfere as it is Rahi’s in-laws’ home.

Mahi and Anupama talk about Prerna

Mahi tries to help out in the kitchen as Vasundhara works around. Anupama comes in and asks for some oil to massage Rahi’s feet with. Mahi and Anupama start talking about what is going on in the house, and Mahi points out that she does not feel good about Prerna going with Prem alone. She points out that a guy and a girl cannot ever be friends.

Anupama tells her not to speak ill of anyone and that since she is not worried, everything will be fine.Khayti also comments about how Mahi should not gossip about her own family and mind her own business. Mahi tells everyone that she is speaking the truth and that she is worried that Rajni’s daughter may pull something.

Kriti pretends to be the victim

Anupama sits beside Rahi and massages her feet. Kriti comes in and taunts Anupama for pampering her daughter.

She later plays the victim and tells them that Kapil abuses her behind closed doors. This worries Rahi and Anupama, who both wonder about what is going on with the couple. Anupama tells Rahi not to believe in a one-sided story and that they need to be patient. The episode comes to an end as Anupama overhears Kapil’s mother praying for her son’s safety. This confuses her even more. She is also shocked to hear that his mother is staying at an old-age home as well. The promo for the next episode shows Anupama walking outside of Kapil and Kriti’s room and seeing him trying to end his life. He cries and confides in her, telling her that he is being abused. The scene shifts to Prerna and Prem sharing a room, where Prerna tries to get close to him.
