AP govt transfers six IPS officers in administrative reshuffle

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh govt on Monday carried out a minor reshuffle in the police department by transferring and posting six Indian Police Service (IPS) officers with immediate effect on administrative grounds.According to the orders issued by the govt, Navjyoti Mishra (RR:2021), who was serving as additional superintendent of police (ASP) at Chintapalli, was transferred and posted as officer on special duty (Administration), Markapur district.Patil Devraj Manish (RR:2022), ASP, Kakinada, was posted as additional SP (Administration), East Godavari district (Rajamahendravaram), in the existing vacancy.Manda Javali Alfons (RR:2022), ASP, Nandyal, was transferred as OSD (Administration), Polavaram district, while Manoj Ramanath Hegde (RR:2022), ASP, Rajampet, was posted as OSD (Law and Order), Amaravati.In another transfer, Rohit Kumar Chaudhary (RR:2022), who was serving as ASP, Tadipatri, was appointed as additional SP (Administration), Palnadu district.Meanwhile, Susmita (RR:2023), ASP, Jangareddygudem, was transferred and posted as ASP, Nandyal, replacing Manda Javali Alfons, who was shifted to Polavaram.The govt said the transfers weremade with immediate effect as part of routine administrative requirements aimed at strengthening policing and improving administrative efficiency across various districts in the state.
