AP high court Chief Justice Lisa Gill offers prayers at Tirumala

Tirupati: AP high court Chief Justice Lisa Gill offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala temple on Friday. A contingent of priests and officials led by TTD EO Muddada Ravichandra and additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary extended a traditional welcome upon her arrival at the Mahadwaram of the temple and led her to the sanctum sanctorum, where she offered prayers to the presiding deity, and rendered Vedasirvachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam by TTD Veda pundits.

She was then handed over the temple’s prasadams and a portrait of Lord Balaji. Justice BV Nagarathna from the Supreme Court is also in Tirumala and is scheduled to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara on Satuday morning.
