Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh showcased its school education reforms at the three-day Strengthening Client Capacity for Impact (SCCI) workshop organised by the World Bank Group, which began in New Delhi on Tuesday.Samagra Shiksha state project director B Srinivasa Rao and SALT project coordinator V Satish Reddy represented the state at the workshop aimed at strengthening the implementation capacity of officials handling World Bank-supported projects.During the workshop, Srinivasa Rao presented the progress of Andhra Pradesh’s education initiatives under Samagra Shiksha. According to an official release, World Bank representatives appreciated the state’s efforts to improve learning outcomes, strengthen school infrastructure, promote digital learning and enhance teacher capacity. They also lauded the Supporting Andhra’s Learning Transformation (SALT) programme as an effective example of a Program-for-Results (PforR) initiative and said Andhra Pradesh has emerged as one of the country’s leading models for educational transformation.The workshop, being held from July 7 to 9, includes sessions on project implementation, financial management, procurement, environmental and social safeguards, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring and evaluation.
