New Delhi: Apple has unveiled a series of major upgrades across its Creator Studio suite of creative apps for Mac, iPad, and iPhone. It unveiled expanded on-device AI tools, deeper integration between individual applications, and a range of feature enhancements for video editing, graphic design, and music production. A core aim of this release is cross-application connectivity. Users can now open and edit images that are placed within Keynote, Pages, and Numbers directly in Pixelmator Pro, with changes automatically saved back to the original document.
Video editors can export individual keyframes from Final Cut Pro directly into Pixelmator Pro for graphics work or thumbnail creation. Final Cut Pro includes automation tools powered by Apple’s on-device AI engine, designed to accelerate common editing tasks. It automatically transcribes dialogue directly onto the timeline. Editors can customize the text font, color, positioning, and animation styles. Analyzes earlier rendered or flattened videos, automatically cutting them back into their original individual clips on the timeline to simplify re-editing or highlight reel creation.
Companion apps receive functional upgrades. Motion unveiled native support for sharp vector graphics at any resolution, along with a Distribute Layers tool for animation setups. Compressor adds on Immersive Metadata Viewer, support for the 180-degree Apple Projected Media Profile for Apple Vision Pro, and an Anaglyph View for previewing stereoscopic video. The free Final Cut Camera application for iOS and iPadOS now includes Clean HDMI Out for external monitoring, extended ProRes LT codec options, and a toggle to turn off zoom to preserve optical resolution.
Pixelmator Pro’s toolset expands to include natural language text-to-image generation and the latest Content Hub, featuring curated stock photos, illustrations, and vector shapes. The productivity apps like Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform received aimed layout and structural improvements. Logic Pro and its live-performance counterpart, MainStage, gain upgrades aimed at analysis and sound manipulation.
