APPSC Group 2 provisional selection list 2026 released: 891 candidates selected, how to check results and direct link

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has published the tentative selection list of Group 2 Services of the year 2023 through Notice No.11. The list is related to shortlisted candidates of the Main Examination who have undergone certificate verification, computer proficiency tests and physical standards verification, which is carried out by medical boards.In total, 891 candidates are selected on provisional basis on their merit in the Main Examination and posts, zones and districts preferences exercised at the certification stage. The APPSC headquarters in Vijayawada have given the selection notification.The APPSC Group 2 provisional selection detailsThe tentative selection is based on the process of direct recruitment in Group 2 Services as indicated above, both general and limited.

The applicants on the list have already passed all the compulsory levels of the hiring procedure, such as checking of certifications and physical fitness requirements.The Commission has made it clear that the provisional selections are open to the decision on writ petitions pending in the Hon. A.P. High Court. These are Writ Petitions No. 27119/2025, 25040/2025, and any other cases related to it that might be under court deliberation.

Those candidates whose names appear in italics in the list were selected tentatively but their number of posts and jurisdictions might be altered at the discretion of the court.Conditions covering provisional selectionThe APPSC has indicated that one is not automatically entitled to be appointed upon passing the examination. The authority that will appoint will require the candidate to be satisfied with his character and antecedents after investigations stated to be necessary.

Applicants should also be proclaimed physically fit to the respective positions.Moreover, the shortlisted applicants will be requested to create the original certificates as requested by the authority that makes the appointment in compliance with the recruitment regulations and the stipulations of Notification No.11/2023. In case a candidate is discovered to have provided a false information or the selection has been identified to have been irregular through an act of omission or commission, the provisional selection can be cancelled at any point, and all the resultant benefits can be forfeited.Examination of vacanciesThe Commission also has pointed out that selections to vacancies that are remaining will be revisited. It will be done according to current rules, procedures and avenues of qualified candidates during the Main Examination depending on the provisions stated in the initial notification.
