Ashish Raghava on the response to The Pyramid Scheme: I’ve received many unexpected calls

Unexpected phone calls and heartfelt messages have become the biggest takeaway from The Pyramid Scheme for Ashish Raghava. The actor, who has been part of Office vs. Office and Tod Kar Dil Mera, says the appreciation coming his way has been deeply encouraging.

The series also stars Paramveer Singh Cheema, Aanjjan Srivastav, Shekhar Suman and Ranvir Shorey.He shares, “The reaction has been so lovely for me. I have received many unexpected calls, and some of them have really made a big difference in my life. I feel more confident now. I am able to see things more clearly, like how things might turn out in the future.”The appreciation has also reaffirmed his belief in the choices he has made as an actor and reminded him of the joy that comes with audiences connecting with a performance.

He says, “Honestly, when people praise your performance, it makes you really, really happy. I truly love that feeling, and it’s something I would always want in my life. I would always want to be loved by people who watch me on screen, people who can relate to my performance and feel that I have done something good.

”Among the many reactions he has received, one observation continues to catch him off guard. Even people who have known him for years often tell him they never imagined he would pursue acting as a profession.

Interestingly, Ashish admits he once felt the same way about himself. He adds, “Most people never expected me to become an actor. When I talk to them and they say that, it feels a little strange, but in a very good way.

Even I had not thought about becoming an actor earlier. But once I did, I started working towards it.” For Ashish, the journey is still unfolding, but the response to The Pyramid Scheme has given him renewed confidence and reassurance that he is moving in the right direction.
