Addressing a press conference, Ms. Nishanthi said the district had climbed from the 28th position to first place within a short period through systematic planning, continuous monitoring and coordinated efforts by officials at all levels.
She said the exercise covered every eligible voter, including those living in remote tribal habitations, ensuring transparent and timely digitalisation of all Enumeration Forms.
The Collector credited the achievement to the efforts of Joint Collector Tirumani Sree Pooja, ITDA Project Officer Aditya Varma, District Revenue Officer M.V.S. Lokeshwara Rao, Revenue Divisional Officer M. Bhujanga Rao, Electoral Registration Officers, district officials, Mandal-level officers, Booth Level Officers and supervisors. She also acknowledged the cooperation of political parties, Booth Level Agents, public representatives and citizens.
Ms. Nishanthi said logical discrepancies identified at the booth level would be rectified within the next two days.
She urged electors to submit claims and objections between July 21 and August 20. Enquiries by Assistant Electoral Registration Officers and Additional AEROs will be conducted from July 21 to September 18, followed by publication of the final electoral roll on September 22.
