ATLS course at AIIMS-Bhopal to boost emergency trauma care

Bhopal: AIIMS Bhopal will organize the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Provider Course from 30 July to 1 Aug under ATLS India, a certification programme of the American College of Surgeons.According to a press release here on Sunday, the course is designed to train doctors in the rapid assessment and scientific management of patients with serious injuries. Participants will learn internationally accepted methods for identifying treatment priorities and delivering timely life-saving care.The initiative is expected to benefit patients injured in road accidents, falls, industrial mishaps and other emergencies, where quick and skilled medical response can make a critical difference to survival and recovery.
