Rescue Operations Continue
The rescue comes as emergency teams from several countries continue searching for survivors in areas devastated by the powerful twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela earlier this week.
Authorities have warned that the death toll is expected to rise as rescue workers continue clearing collapsed buildings and reaching remote affected communities.
Global Relief Efforts Underway
The United States is among several countries that have deployed search-and-rescue personnel, medical teams and humanitarian aid to assist Venezuela’s recovery efforts.
Specialised rescue crews equipped with sniffer dogs, thermal imaging devices and heavy equipment remain engaged in a race against time to locate survivors trapped under debris.
One Of The Deadliest Disasters In Recent Years
The twin earthquakes caused widespread destruction across parts of Venezuela, flattening buildings, damaging roads and critical infrastructure, and displacing thousands of people.
International relief operations are continuing as authorities work to provide emergency shelter, food and medical assistance to affected communities.
