Badshah makes his debut at New York Fashion Week

Indian rapper Badshah marked his New York Fashion Week debut, attending Alexander Wang's Spring 2026 showcase. He was invited by Wang himself and secured a front-row seat at the 58 Bowery event, celebrating Wang's return to NYFW after seven years and his 20th anniversary.

Badshah known for songs like Saturday Saturday (Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania) Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai (Khoobsurat), Kar Gayi Chull (Kapoor and Sons), Proper Patola (Namaste England) and others, made his debut at New York Fashion Week, becoming the first Indian rapper to attend the event.

Invited by designer Alexander Wang, Badshah sat in the front row at Wang’s Spring 2026 showcase at 58 Bowery — a show that marked the designer’s return to NYFW after seven years. The appearance comes amid Badshah’s Unfinished Tour across North America and follows his recent presence at Paris Men’s Fashion Week.Styled by New York–based Shipra Sharma, Badshah wore a monochrome light-washed denim ensemble — an oversized zip-up hoodie and matching jeans — paired with chunky black Alexander Wang boots. His look was elevated by handcrafted diamond-encrusted brooches from luxury accessories label Deepa Gurnani, featuring motifs like alligators, elephants and skulls, all crafted by Indian artisans. The evening celebrated Wang’s 20th anniversary with a collection titled Matriarch.Invited by designer Alexander Wang, Badshah sat in the front row at Wang’s Spring 2026 showcase
