Over 10,000 devotees gathered at the Sri Guru Gobind Singh Hockey playground in Ameerpet on Tuesday to mark Baisakhi, celebrating the solar new year and the birth of the Khalsa Panth established in 1699 by Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru.

The ground was transformed into a congregation space with a large tented enclosure covering the venue. Temporary structures were set up across the area to create a sheltered space for worship and gathering, with organised seating and service areas for devotees.
