Barbie Ferreira has reached new heights of fame after her stint as Kat on the famed ‘Euphoria’ series. After exiting the series at the end of season 2, the actress moved on and worked on a lot of other projects to grow in her career.
Over the years, she has undergone a lot of changes.
In a recent interview, the popular star talked about what all has gone down in her life after ‘Euphoria’ success.
Barbie Ferreira talks about life after ‘Euphoria’
A lot of her life was defined by the show, though now the ‘Mile End Kicks’ actress has moved ahead and has undergone a lot of changes. While talking to PEOPLE recently at the Damson Madder’s first Los Angeles pop-up store.She talked about her evolving style, citing that since her days on the hit show, her style has definitely become more ‘refined.’
She further added, “I started in the industry when I was, like, 21. I’m 29, almost 30 now, so things have changed.”She further added, “When you’re a kid, you experiment with your outfits more, and now I know what I like and experiment within the same world. It’s a little less; a little bit more refined.” She further recalled that these days she loves adding a pop of colour for her fits, and has been experimenting with her style on a regular basis.
Last year, Ferreira went viral and was heavily praised for her all cobalt ball gown that she wore during the Oscars red carpet.
On the work front with Barbie Ferreira
The actress last appeared on screen in the horror film titled ‘Faces of Death’ opposite names like Dacre Montgomery, Josie Totah, Aaron Holliday, Jermaine Fowler, and Charli XCX. The film was a remake of the 1978 film of the same name, and was released earlier this month on April 10. Other than that, she last year appeared on ‘Mile End Kicks’, a Canadian romantic comedy film, in which she stars in the lead role along with Devon Bostick, Stanley Simon, Juliette Gariépy, Robert Naylor, Isaiah Lehtinen and Jay Baruchel.
It debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival last year, and reached Canadian theatres this year on April 17.Ferreira was a part of ‘Euphoria’ for the first two seasons; however, by the end of season 2, she had clarified that she would not be returning for any of the future seasons. Over the years, she has explained her decision multiple times, citing that she did not wish to constantly be known as the ‘fat girl’, and that she felt that her character was not going anywhere.
