Brooklyn Peltz Beckham publicly celebrated his mother in law Claudia Heffner Peltz’s birthday with a warm message on social media, even as reports of tension with his own famous family continue to swirl.
The 27 year old shared the tribute on Instagram Stories on March 15, just days after Claudia turned 71 on March 12. Brooklyn posted a photo of himself with his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham and her mother. Along with the picture, he wrote a short but affectionate message. “Happy birthday to the best mother in law x. Love u so much and hope u had the most amazing day.”The birthday message came right before Mothering Sunday in the United Kingdom, the country where Brooklyn grew up. While he celebrated Nicola’s mother online, members of the Beckham family were also marking the same day by sharing posts for Victoria Beckham. The moment caught attention because Brooklyn has been at the center of a very public family disagreement involving his parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham and his siblings Romeo Beckham, Cruz Beckham and Harper Beckham.

She added, “I love you more than you will ever understand. I hope all your dreams and wishes come true.”
Claudia Heffner Peltz is married to businessman Nelson Peltz. According to reports from People, Nelson Peltz is the co founder of investment firm Trian Fund Management. He and Claudia married in 1985 and share eight children together.Brooklyn’s birthday message to his mother in law comes during an ongoing disagreement within the Beckham family that has drawn wide public attention over the past few years.
Reports about the family tension first began around April 2022, when Brooklyn married Nicola Peltz Beckham.Earlier this year in January, Brooklyn addressed the situation directly through a message on his Instagram Stories. In that message, he claimed that his parents had been “trying endlessly to ruin” his marriage to Nicola. He also wrote that he did not want to “reconcile” with his family.Brooklyn further alleged that his parents had tried to “bribe” him into “signing away the rights” to his name before his wedding.
He also claimed that Victoria Beckham interrupted his wedding dance with Nicola and “danced inappropriately on me.”Meanwhile, the rest of the Beckham family continued to publicly celebrate Mothering Sunday. Romeo Beckham, Cruz Beckham and Harper Beckham all shared posts honoring their mother Victoria Beckham on March 15.Earlier this month, when Brooklyn turned 27 on March 4, both David Beckham and Victoria Beckham also posted birthday messages for him.
David Beckham shared two throwback photos on Instagram Stories and wrote, “We love you,” while tagging Victoria Beckham. Victoria also shared posts saying, “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much.”Despite the public statements from Brooklyn earlier this year, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have not responded directly to his accusations. However, sources have shared different perspectives about the situation.According to People, a source close to Brooklyn and Nicola said the couple “never wanted any of this” and had hoped to quietly live their lives. The source added that Brooklyn felt it was important to speak out after what he believed were inaccurate stories circulating about his wife.Another source with knowledge of the situation told People that David Beckham and Victoria Beckham had asked Brooklyn and Nicola to meet and talk in hopes of repairing the relationship. The source said, “David loves his kids. They are his everything.”For now, the family situation remains unresolved, even as Brooklyn continues to share moments from his life with Nicola Peltz Beckham and her family online.
