Belgium celebrated their 4-1 World Cup win over the USA with Donald Trump dance moves and a viral "Overturn this" post, mocking the Balogun eligibility controversy.

If the celebratory post wasn’t enough damage, Romelu Lukaku and co. ensured that the USA were made a mockery of on all fronts, on the pitch itself.
After cruising to a dominant 4-1 victory over the USMNT in their Round-of-16 clash, the Red Devils appeared to mock the controversy surrounding Folarin Balogun’s eligibility and US President Donald Trump’s involvement in the debate.
The biggest statement came moments after Romelu Lukaku wrapped up the victory with Belgium’s fourth goal deep into stoppage time. As teammates gathered around him, several Belgian players broke into the now-famous Donald Trump dance, celebrating together in a circle in front of the cameras.
E para completar a HUMILHAÇÃO sofrida pelos EUA em casa, os jogadores belgas comemoraram o quarto gol com a dancinha de Trump!HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It wasn’t the only jab.
Shortly after the final whistle, Belgium’s official X account posted a celebratory image of its players alongside a simple but pointed caption: “Overturn this."
The message was widely interpreted as a reference to FIFA’s controversial decision to suspend Balogun’s automatic one-match ban, allowing the United States striker to feature despite his red card in the previous round.
The decision came amid reports that Trump had spoken to FIFA president Gianni Infantino about the incident, although Trump insisted he had not pressured FIFA into changing the ruling.
Belgium, however, had strongly opposed Balogun’s availability and even challenged his eligibility before kickoff, only for FIFA to reject the appeal.
Belgium Let Their Game Do The Talking
On the pitch, there was little controversy over the result.
Belgium outclassed the hosts from start to finish, with Charles De Ketelaere scoring twice before Hans Vanaken capitalised on a costly goalkeeping error. Lukaku’s stoppage-time strike completed the 4-1 rout after Malik Tillman’s deflected free-kick had briefly given the United States hope.
Balogun, whose availability had dominated the pre-match headlines, struggled to make an impact as Belgium comfortably progressed to the quarter-finals, where they will face Spain.
