Bengaluru Police have made the first arrest in the alleged toddler abuse case at a day care centre in the city.

The arrested woman, identified as Vijayalaxmi, was employed at the facility and is the same person seen in the video related to the incident.

Police have booked her under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act. Further investigation into the case is underway.
