Bengaluru: Gelatin sticks, detonators found outside toilet in Kalasipalya bus stand

Panic gripped the public after passers-by found some explosive material kept in a carry bag abandoned near the washroom of the Kalasipalya private bus stand on Wednesday (July 23, 2025) afternoon.

The Kalasipalya police along with bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot and conducted a thorough check of the area before seizing the material for further analysis.

DCP West division S. Girish, who visited the spot and supervised the investigation, said that six gelatin sticks and some detonators were found. The police are recovering the CCTV from in and around the area to identify the person who left the bag behind.
