Bengaluru shocker: Rapido driver slaps woman passenger over rash driving complaint and refusal to pay; video goes viral

BENGALURU: A woman passenger was slapped by a Rapido bike taxi rider in Bengaluru’s Jayanagar area on Saturday, after she got off mid-ride citing rash driving and refused to pay the fare.The incident escalated into a heated argument, during which the rider suddenly slapped the woman, causing her to fall to the ground. The assault was caught on camera and the video has since gone viral on social media, drawing widespread outrage.Following the incident, the woman filed a police complaint at the Jayanagar police station.Police are yet to identify and arrest the accused rider.
