For Sakshi, a daily commuter on ITPL Main Road, it takes 20 minutes to cover a mere 3 km stretch during peak hours. “Crossing Hoodi Junction and commuting on ITPL Main Road for 3 km means there will be at least four to five congestion points,” she said.

The 10-km ITPL stretch forms a link connecting the southeastern and eastern parts of the city and primarily serves Bengaluru’s tech hub. Beyond the end of ITPL Road, there are several educational institutions as well.
