Bereaved kin of autorickshaw driver forced to stay in graveyard until completion of ‘mourning period’

The family members of an autorickshaw driver, who allegedly ldied by suicide six days ago, have been staying in the graveyard at Sapthagiri Colony in Karimnagar since his funeral.

The reason for their forced stay in the graveyard is alleged denial of entry into their rented house by their landlord till the completion of the ‘Shraddha Karma’, the 13-day mourning period, sources said.
