Now, tasked with solving the new series of crimes, detective Cha Soo Yeol takes his mother’s help, who is still in jail serving her time. The unique plot, as well as the chemistry between the mother-son duo, is something that will make this drama one of the best watches online. It is now available for watching on Netflix.

’ follows the life of a man who runs a chicken shop in the heart of a bustling market. Not only that, he is the go-to person for anyone and everyone who lives there in times of crisis. With his mediating and cooking skills, Mr Shin ends up becoming a crowd favourite. However, like everyone, he too has some secrets.The fun concept with a hint of mystery in this new drama makes it a perfect option to cure the blues. The show will air on September 15 onwards, and will be available for streaming on tvN and TVING.

‘Marry My Husband’

‘Marry My Husband’ is based on the theme of time travel and rebirth, and is one of the most interesting dramas that has been released in recent years. Available to watch on Prime Video, this show follows the story of a woman who leads a miserable life and is suffering from cancer. Betrayed by her husband and best friend, she is accidentally killed by being pushed into a glass table. This, however, ends up ushering in a new lease on life as she gets transported to when things were still okay. Starring Park Min Young and Na In Woo, this drama is bound to keep you hooked.

‘Cheer Up’

Another drama available on Prime Video, this coming-of-age drama is set in a college backdrop where a cheerleading team is made and beats all odds to become the best. While this show is mainly a romantic-comedy, the different themes in between about who is out to get the main female lead, and what happened in the past, all make up for an interesting OTT watch. This drama has a star-studded cast that includes Han Ji Hyun, Baek In Hyuk, Kim Hyun Jin, and Jang Gyu Ri.

‘Flex X Cop’

This drama was released in January last year and is still a fan favourite. With a total of 16 episodes, it is an eccentric tale of a dedicated cop who wants to find out the truth behind her father and free him from jail, and a chaebol son who becomes an officer for the heck of it. ‘Parasyte: The Grey’

This is one of the most thrilling additions to this list and is bound to keep you entertained if you haven’t already watched it. This show is based on the grotesque manga by Hitoshi Iwaaki, and is set in a post-apocalyptic world with horrors beyond our imagination. It revolves around parasitic aliens who try to take over humans in a bid to take over mankind; however, cashier Jeong Su In ends up only partially infected, creating a sticky situation.
