Ex-AAP MLA Somnath Bharti slams strategist Sandeep Pathak for joining BJP, questions his "values" in a post of X.

A day after several Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MPs crossed over to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in a dramatic political shift, former AAP MLA Somnath Bharti on Saturday publicly questioned the move by parliamentarian Sandeep Pathak, expressing shock and disappointment over his defection.

In a strongly worded post on social media platform X, Bharti took aim at Sandeep Pathak, one of AAP’s key strategists, who joined the BJP a day earlier alongside Raghav Chadha and others.

“Sandeep Pathak bhai, why you?? No one in the entire party can swallow the fact that you’re joining that BJP which you once considered dangerous for the country! Following in Raghav’s footsteps, you?? What was your compulsion?? What happened to your values?? What happened to Prof Sandeep Pathak ji, who had sworn to live and die with Arvind Kejriwal," Bharti wrote.
