Industries and Commerce Minister T. G. Bharath Gupta has urged Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy to seek assistance from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) for the Gayatri Goshala, the largest cow shelter in the State, at Kurnool.

Accompanied by members of the Gayatri Goshala committee, Mr. Bharath met Mr. Ramanarayana Reddy at the State Secretariat in Amaravati. He told the Endowments Minister that the Goshala, on the outskirts of Kurnool, houses more than 1,200 cows.

“This facility stands as the largest cow shelter within the state. We are moving forward with the support of donors to ensure the provision of fodder for the cows,” Mr. Bharath said, and asked the Minister to seek assistance from the TTD.

He asked that a temple to Lord Venkateswara be built on the Goshala premises under the TTD, and sought help to develop the cow shed run on land belonging to the Endowments Department in Kurnool.

Mr. Ramanarayana Reddy, who had recently visited the Goshala, responded positively to the proposals. Gayatri Goshala president Jagadeesh Gupta and committee members were present.
