Bharti Singh calls comedian Rajiv Thakur her ‘Guru’; says, “He’s one of the most hardworking people I know”

Bharti Singh, who is currently winning hearts on Laughter Chefs 3, has opened up about her love for stand-up comedy. She shared a podcast on her YouTube channel with husband Harsh Limbachiyaa, where Pranit More was a guest.

There, Bharti shared how she would love to watch his stand-up comedy someday, along with Rajiv Thakur and others.Bharti then shared how she has learned a lot from Rajiv Thakur and calls him her “Guru.” She further praised him for his dedication. She said, “I want to see all the comedians—people like you, Rajiv Thakur sir, who performs really well, and others too. The person you just mentioned is actually my guru. I learned from him.”

She further shared, “He’s extremely hardworking. He’s the kind of person who will put in effort no matter what. Even if he says, ‘I have time at 3 a.m., let’s go to the gym from 3 to 5 in the morning,’ he will actually show up and do it. He’s incredibly dedicated.”

Pranit, on the other hand, revealed how he grew up watching Kapil Sharma and Bharti Singh. He said, “When stand-up comedy had just started becoming popular in India, we used to watch people like Kapil Bhai and you. We would think, ‘What amazing timing! What confidence!’ You deliver jokes so effortlessly, and sometimes you even make fun of yourself. But when you praise others now, it feels really nice to hear that.”
