Bhopal tops MP in ‘Safe Click 2.0’ cyber awareness campaign

Bhopal: The Bhopal Police Commissionerate has secured the first position in Madhya Pradesh in the state-wide 15-day cyber safety awareness campaign, ‘Safe Click 2.0’, conducted by Madhya Pradesh Police.Bhopal police carried out extensive cyber awareness programmes across schools, colleges, coaching institutes, banks, hotels, hospitals, courts, residential colonies and slum areas during the campaign. Besides on-ground outreach, the commissionerate also disseminated cyber safety messages through social media using awareness videos aimed at educating citizens about online fraud and safe digital practices.The campaign, which ended on Wednesday, was designed to spread awareness about cyber security among the public and encourage safe online behaviour.Speaking at the closing ceremony, Police Commissioner Sanjay Kumar credited the achievement to the collective efforts of police personnel, citizens and the media. He thanked all stakeholders for their participation, saying the campaign’s success was possible because of their support and cooperation.
