Bhumi Puja for Akhanda Godavari project, RSC in Rajamahendravaram today

Union Minister for Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan will perform bhumi puja for the ₹94 crore Akhanda Godavari project on the banks of river Godavari in Rajamahendravaram City.

The duo will also inaugurate the Regional Science Laboratory on the outskirts of Rajamahendravaram City before performing bhumi puja for the permanent campus buildings of the Andhra Pradesh State Forest academy in the Diwancheruvu Reserve Forest on Thursday. 

On Wednesday, State Minister for Tourism and Culture Kandula Durgesh, City MLA Adireddi Srinivas, District Collector P. Prasanthi, and SP D. Narasimha Kishore reviewed arrangements for the three programmes. 

Meanwhile, the city witnessed continuous rainfall on Wednesday and is expected to play a spoilsport for the scheduled programmes on Thursday. However, in the event of rainfall officials have geared up to scale down the scheduled programmes in the event of rainfall.
