The highly anticipated Bigg Boss Telugu 9 is expected to premiere on September 7th. Hosted by Nagarjuna, the season promises an explosive blend of drama, entertainment, and unpredictable twists.Season 9 is themed around “Agnipariksha”- trial by fire, and features a groundbreaking double house format, doubling the dose of entertainment. Along with celebrities, this time, commoners are given a chance to earn their place in the Bigg Boss house.As part of this, Bigg Boss pre-show Agnipariksha, 'Big before the Biggest,' was launched to test the physical strength, mental agility, and emotional depth of the commoner contestants. Anchor Sreemukhi hosts the pre-show with a judging panel led by former Bigg Boss stars - Abijeet, Bindu Madhavi, and Navdeep.

The selection process unfolds in levels, where the judges use green flags for approval and red flags for rejection.Out of 45 shortlisted candidates, the top 15 are now in the race for the top five positions, who will be entering the main house. While they fight their way into the house, the audience is given a chance to vote for their favourite contestants and increase their probability of entering the Bigg Boss house.
