BSEB Class 10 result 2026: Failed students can apply for compartment, scrutiny from April 1
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared the Class 10 (Matric) Result 2026, with an overall pass percentage of 81.79 percent. While over 12.35 lakh students have successfully cleared the examination, a section of candidates has not been able to pass.
However, the Board has provided multiple options to ensure that students do not lose an academic year.Compartment exams offer second chanceStudents who have failed in one or two subjects need not worry, as the Bihar Board conducts compartment examinations. This allows candidates to reappear in those subjects and improve their scores within the same academic year. The application process for compartment exams will be conducted online from April 1 to April 7, 2026.
Special exams for eligible candidatesApart from compartment exams, the Board will also organise special examinations for students who could not appear earlier or need another opportunity. Forms for these exams will also be available during the same application window.
