Repeated disruptions and adjournments, initially over a discussion on Operation Sindoor and later on the Bihar voter list revision, dampened the Monsoon session of Parliament, which saw little business being transacted.

Overall, 12 bills were passed by the Lok Sabha and 15 by the Rajya Sabha during the month-long session, including the legislation to regulate online gaming and one that promises to revamp sports administration.

However, the month-long session will be remembered for the shock resignation of Jagdeep Dhankhar as the Vice President just a day after proceedings kicked off on July 21. While Dhankhar cited health reasons for his shock exit, speculation was rife of his growing differences with the government.
