A 13-year-old Class 6 student in Bijnor's Syohara area was allegedly gang-raped by two village youths after being lured to a house, according to her family's complaint. Police have registered an FIR, arrested one accused and begun the girl's medical examination and court statement process.

In a shocking incident that has sparked widespread outrage, a 13-year-old Class 6 student was allegedly gang-raped by two youths from her own village under the jurisdiction of the Seohara police station in Bijnor district.

The case came to light after a sexually explicit video allegedly linked to the assault began circulating on social media. According to the victim's family, the incident had taken place around two weeks earlier, but they learned about it only after the footage surfaced online.

In their complaint, the family alleged that a married man from the village lured the Class 6 student to a friend's house, where she was allegedly held captive and gang-raped by two men. The accused are also alleged to have filmed the assault and taken photographs, which were later circulated.

Following the emergence of the video, the family approached the Syohara police station on Friday and lodged a complaint against the accused. Police subsequently registered an FIR and arrested one of the suspects.

The second accused remains at large. Acting on information that he may be in Chandigarh, a police team has been sent to apprehend him.

Authorities have initiated the girl's medical examination and the process of recording her statement before a court. The viral video is also being examined as part of the ongoing investigation.

Dhampur Circle Officer Anjani Kumar Chaturvedi said a case had been registered against two youths from the victim's village. He added that the victim's medical examination was being conducted and all mandatory legal procedures, including the recording of her statement, were being carried out in accordance with the law.
