Bike-borne chain snatchers strike in Bokaro market

Bokaro: Two motorcycle-borne miscreants allegedly snatched a gold chain from a woman near Lakshmi market on Monday morning, police said.On Sunday, bike-borne criminals had snatched a chain from a man in Sector 2.A resident of Swang, Sanjay Kumar Sinha, 58, lodged a complaint with the Sector-4 police, alleging that he, along with his wife, Kanaklata Sinha, had come to a medical store located at the Lakshmi market. Around 11.15 am, while the couple was standing outside the medical shop, two youths arrived on a motorcycle and grabbed the gold chain from his wife’s neck. He tried to chase the accused but failed, he further alleged.DSP (City) Rajeev Ranjan said, “We have begun a hunt to identify and arrest the culprits.”
