Jordon Hudson did not stay quiet after her latest cheerleading win. The 24 year old girlfriend of University of North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick posted a bold message on Instagram right after her team won a major cheer event.

Jordon Hudson competed at the Cheer For Charity Grand National Championships held in Virginia Beach, Virginia over the weekend. The Maine native and her cheer team finished on top in the competition. Jordon Hudson’s post was clearly playful, but it also looked like a direct response to critics who often question her relationship with Bill Belichick.

The longtime NFL coach, now leading the University of North Carolina football program, has been in the spotlight since Hudson became publicly linked to him.Instead of ignoring those comments, Hudson turned the conversation into a joke after her team’s victory. The cheerleader and entrepreneur shared photos of herself celebrating with teammates after winning the Cheer For Charity Grand National Championships in Virginia Beach. Many followers loved the tone of the post. The comment section quickly filled with support. One fan wrote, “SHE AINT MESSIN WITH NO BROKE,” referencing the Kanye West song Gold Digger. Another user replied, “THATS MY GIRL.” One more comment read, “Ahahahaha iconic.”Hudson has spent much of 2025 adjusting to life in Chapel Hill, North Carolina after Bill Belichick took the job as head coach of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels football team.

During the football season, several rumors circulated online about tension inside the program and about Hudson’s possible role around the team. But those claims were strongly pushed back by people inside the program. University of North Carolina football general manager Mike Lombardi addressed the situation earlier this month during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.Mike Lombardi said the program stayed united despite the outside criticism.

He explained that the team did not lose a single recruit during that time.Mike Lombardi said, “All during those stormy times, all during when the boat was getting capsized, when people were attacking us with fake rumors and fake stories all over, nobody’s corrected them yet, but that’s OK, we understand, our players hung together.”He continued, “We did not lose one single recruit to another team. Now, they tried. A lot of that, to me, was the dedication of our recruiting class, and that’s what I think gives everybody in this program the lift that we need.”Mike Lombardi also added, “Look, let’s face it. If you’re not worth a darn, they’re not going to attack you. Some programs are not worth attacking. They’re going to attack us. We expect it. It’s all good. We’ve been in the arena before. We don’t listen to the noise. We focus on what we have to focus on and we move forward.”While those conversations continue around the football program, Jordon Hudson’s latest cheerleading win and her lighthearted Instagram caption gave supporters another moment to celebrate.
