BJP functionary Satish Shejwadkar dies of heart attack in Hubballi

Hubballi: BJP functionary Satish Shejwadkar passed away on Sunday morning after suffering a massive heart attack at a hospital in Hubballi. Shejwadkar, who had been unwell since Saturday, was admitted to the hospital on Sunday morning after experiencing chest pain.

However, he suffered a severe heart attack during treatment and died. Union minister Pralhad Joshi said on social media that he was deeply shocked by the untimely demise of Shejwadkar, vice-president of the Karnataka State Backwards Classes Morcha of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He said Shejwadkar was always the voice of the common people and actively involved in social service for the welfare of backward classes and society. “His contribution to the party organisation and social work was unique. His death is an irreparable loss to society and the party,“ Joshi said, expressing condolences to his family members.
