BJP leader Satish Shejwadkar dies of cardiac arrest

The former councillor of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation and senior BJP leader Satish Shejwadkar (54) passed away in Hubballi on Sunday following a massive cardiac arrest.

Shejwadkar, who served as the State Vice-President of the BJP OBC Morcha, was known for his grassroots level activities in strengthening the organisation.

He is survived by his wife and three children.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, BJP MLAs and senior party leaders were among those who paid their last respects.
