Jaipur: The BJP has stepped up preparations ahead of the maiden Rajasthan visit of its national president Nitin Nabin on April 27, with state in-charge Radha Mohan Das Agrawal holding a series of review meetings and issuing strict directives to party units.Agrawal chaired a key organisational meeting in Tonk district on Friday and later interacted with party workers in Niwai, focusing on ensuring that Nabin’s visit to Tonk and Jaipur is executed at scale. This marks Agrawal’s second visit to Rajasthan within four days, underlining the importance the party is attaching to the tour.Nabin, who recently took charge as the BJP national president, is scheduled to inaugurate the party’s new office in Tonk and address a large workers’ conference.
Chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma is expected to be present at the event. Sources confirmed that Nabin’s visit is accelerating the long-pending cabinet reshuffle and political appointments. “He will take stock of things in Rajasthan by meeting all party factions.
The feedback he will be taking will become the basis for his political actions in the near future,” said a party source.Sources said Agrawal, known for his firm organisational style, has directed party leaders and elected representatives to ensure “zero tolerance” for any lapses in execution.
He emphasised meticulous planning, booth-level mobilisation, and strong coordination between Jaipur and Tonk units to turn the visit into a “grand and historic” programme.During the meeting, Agrawal reviewed logistics, crowd mobilisation plans and outreach strategies. He asked local units to maximise participation from grassroots workers and ensure smooth arrangements for the inauguration ceremony and the subsequent workers’ summit.
