BJP leader Amit Malviya on Sunday tore into Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for “echoing Pakistan’s narrative" and saying that no nation supported India during its recent conflict with the neighbouring nation.

While addressing reporters, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi had stated that the NDA-led government has ruined India’s foreign policies and that no country supported India during its conflict with Pakistan.

Reacting strongly to Rahul Gandhi comments, Amit Malviya said the Congress MP continues to push forward Pakistan’s “tired narrative that India is isolated on the global stage."

Malviya targetted the Raebareli MP for doubting India’s capabilities and strength even when “the entire civilised world" stood with it.

Taking to X, the BJP leader wrote, “Rahul Gandhi, in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, asked: “Kisne support kiya hume?" He continues to echo Pakistan’s tired narrative that India is isolated on the global stage. Let’s dismantle that lie. After the Pahalgam attack, the entire civilised world stood with India. From Washington to Tokyo, from Paris to Canberra, countries condemned the cowardly act in one voice — and backed India’s fight against terror without hesitation."

Presenting points to prove he claim, he further wrote, “The United States called it a “heinous" attack and reaffirmed full counterterrorism cooperation. The Trump administration even designated The Resistance Front — a Lashkar-e-Taiba proxy — as a terrorist organisation, a major diplomatic win for India. France offered unwavering support. President Macron condemned the attack strongly, just as he did during Pulwama. Russia’s President Putin personally called PM Modi to offer condolences and solidarity. Moscow continues to block anti-India proposals at the UNSC.

“The UK, along with the G7, declared it “an attack on peace and humanity." The message was unified and clear."

He mentioned that even China condemned the attack, calling it shocking. He further stated that not even a single country blamed India in response.

“Even China, despite its usual tightrope walking, expressed “shock" and “strong condemnation". Though Beijing did try to balance with diplomatic doublespeak by mentioning Pakistan’s “concerns," it didn’t dare repeat Islamabad’s propaganda. That’s the UNSC P5 — US, UK, France, Russia, and even China — either fully backing India or staying neutral. Not one nation blamed India or its right to respond. Not one said “both sides," he tweeted.

Replying to Rahul Gandhi’s question of who supported India, he said everyone did except him. He accused the MP for maligning country’s image on foreign soil multiple times.

“And yet, Rahul Gandhi — disconnected from the truth and loyal only to his echo chamber — asks “Kisne support kiya?" The answer is simple: Everyone did. Everyone except him. This isn’t new. He’s done it before. He called Indian democracy dead — in London. He echoed China’s line during the Galwan clash. He questioned the Balakot strike from foreign soil."

The BJP leader added that today’s India doesn’t beg for sympathy but commands respect from several nations, including US and Russia.

“Today, India commands respect — from Washington D.C. to Moscow, from Beijing to Brasilia. We don’t beg for sympathy. We lead the Global South, we anchor the Indo-Pacific, and we shape global conversations."

He asserted that India remains committed to crushing terror elements.

“We crushed Pakistan-backed terror once.

We’ll do it again — anytime, anywhere, on our terms," he further added.
