A formal complaint has been registered at the Bolinj Police Station in Virar West.
A delivery executive from quick-commerce platform Blinkit has been booked for allegedly urinating in the lift of a residential building in Virar West, Mumbai. The incident occurred at the CD Gurudev Building in the Palghar district and was captured on the building’s CCTV camera.
In the footage, the delivery agent is seen entering the elevator with a parcel in his left hand. Attempting to conceal his actions from the back-facing camera, he unzips his pants and urinates on the lift’s front gate.
The act came to light when residents noticed an issue inside the elevator and reviewed the CCTV recordings, which clearly showed a man wearing a Blinkit jacket committing the act. The incident reportedly took place on Friday afternoon.
Following the discovery, several residents went to the Blinkit office to confront the accused. He was allegedly assaulted during the confrontation before being handed over to the police.
A formal complaint has been registered at the Bolinj Police Station in Virar West. Authorities have confirmed the incident and are continuing their investigation.
