Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir held a telephonic conversation with US President Donald Trump and raised concerns over the Strait of Hormuz blockade, calling it a “hurdle to talks", news agency Reuters reported citing a Pakistani official.
During the conversation, Munir highlighted the impact of the blockade on ongoing diplomatic efforts to negotiate peace talks between Iran and the United States, the source said. In response, Trump told Munir that he would consider the advice shared during the call.
