Boat enters Malaysia market, partners with Flipkart co-founder’s Binny Bansal-backed Opptra

Boat has announced its entry into the Malaysian market, marking a significant milestone in its international expansion across Southeast Asia. In a press release, the company said that the move underscores the company’s “ambition to scale its global footprint and tap into high-growth, digitally native consumer markets”.

As part of this expansion, Boat has partnered with Opptra, a new venture by Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal, focused on enabling consumer brands to unlock global growth and thrive in an increasingly digital-first retail landscape. Boat said that it will introduce its popular portfolio of TWS earbuds, headphones, and power banks in Malaysia. The products will be available across leading e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada and Tik Tok shop in the country.“Anchored by its global brand philosophy, ‘Create Waves’, boAt’s Malaysia lineup will focus on delivering powerful bass, long-lasting battery life, and advanced Active Noise Cancellation, catering to a new-age audience seeking immersive, high-performance audio experiences,” the consumer tech brand said. Boat will also introduce its premium Nirvana series, bringing elevated design and sound quality to discerning consumers.
